The Giving Tree 2023

两个家庭都被要求为每个家庭成员提供三个需求和三个愿望.  随着杂货店、加油站、公用事业等的价格持续上涨., more families are needing help.  今年是一个很好的机会，让我们所有人走到一起，为我们社区的其他人创造一个更快乐的假期. 所要求的项目列在位于入学/经济援助办公室前面的捐赠树上挂的标签上.  You may place your 包装包 under the tree with the 标签上 by Wednesday, December 13^th.   你也可以把钱放在收银台的窗口.

Donation Options:

· Select a tag off the Giving Tree.

· Cash donations can be dropped off at the Cashier’s window.

 Back to School Supply Drive

The School Supply Collection raised over $300.00. 

从沃尔玛购买了6个背包，从Meijer购买了每种产品的18件.

Items were picked up on Sept 10^th 和 distributed to needy students by the Salvation Army.

2023 Easter Basket Campaign

再一次。, 今年，我们为来自20个家庭的49个孩子收集了与“启智计划”有关的资金.  It was last minute, but 我们做到了!  😊

下面这张照片代表了寄给孩子们的典型篮子，里面有玩具, coloring books 和 crayons, books (definitely want to promote literacy), 袋装糖果, 人行道粉笔, 泡沫, 等.  Plus, every child received a chocolate Easter Bunny!

按照我们的标准，我们为每个家庭提供的饭菜包括一个大小合适的火腿, boxes of scalloped potatoes, cans of green beans, boxes of cornbread, a jar of applesauce, 和 a box of brownie mix.  另外，今年我们还赠送了一盒有趣的复活节主题麦片!

最后, 我们提供了一个装满家庭用品的洗衣篮，包括洗衣篮本身, rolls of paper towels, a four pack of toilet paper, a bottle of laundry soap, a bottle of dish soap, 和 some containers of cleaning wipes.

 Oaks of Righteousness Shelter Meal

This was one of our most popular fundraisers!  似乎每个人在谈到我们毛茸茸的、有羽毛的朋友时都有自己的看法.  社区外展委员会为人道协会筹集了396美元.00 with pet photo contest 和 $68.00 from jeans day.  The funds went to the Humane Society General Fund.

Jeans day collected over $100.00.  杰克·伯恩斯 secured a $250.00 donation from Thrivent.  Josh Myers gave a discounted rate for the 食物 baskets.
